DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to join our team to help manage and deploy various applications running on Docker. This is a unique opportunity that will give the selected candidate the ability to learn about the operation of a mobile network and hands-on experience to build and manage CI/CD pipeline.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in a Dev Ops (or similar) role for a SAAS/API-based product.
• Very comfortable working with Linux and familiarity with common distros (Debian, CentOS etc.).
• Experience managing applications in a containerized environment (Docker) utilizing orchestration tools like Docker Swarm or Kubernetes.
• Knowledgable in building and improving CI/CD pipeline (Atlassian Stack preferred - Jira, Git Bitbucket and Bamboo accepted).
• Able to collaborate with engineers to support and improve development environments and process flows ( Staging, UAT, production).
• Experience with application performance monitoring and reliability management using Elastic stack (Filebeat/ Elastic search/APM/Kibana).
• Hands-on experience working with different database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, etc.).
• Comfortable working with cloud providers like AWS.

Nice to have

• Understanding of network (TCP/IP) & routing protocols (BGP etc).
• Experience managing AWS cost optimization and migrating applications to AWS or other cloud providers.
• Ability to write scripts and automate tasks (bash, python etc). Experience with configuration management tools (Chef/Ansible) a bonus.
