High Altitude Recognition from Kaleido (January)

We began the year on a high. Kaleido Intelligence recognized Telna as a “High Flyer” in both the eSIM Connectivity Vendor and Connectivity Management Platform categories.
This acknowledgment reflects our technical strength, platform depth, and continued momentum as an eSIM connectivity partner that enables scalable, seamless global connectivity.

Innovating at New Heights: Vienna via ROCCO (February)

In February, Telna was selected for ROCCO’s The Innovators. The Innovators is a research initiative that celebrates the most innovative solutions within the telecom industry.
We introduced our Universal eSIM, designed to simplify provisioning through pre-configured IMSIs for instant, worldwide connectivity. A clear step forward in what enterprises need from an eSIM connectivity partner today.

Full Signal in Barcelona at MWC (March)

At MWC Barcelona 2025, Telna made a strong impression. CEO Gregory Gundelfinger spoke at the eSIM Summit, outlining how eSIM is reshaping travel connectivity. On the show floor, our team discussed the features that set us apart as an eSIM connectivity partner: from global APNs and DPI capabilities to high-quality voice and flexible integration options.
March also brought further recognition: we were listed on the MVNO Index as a vendor/solution provider.
We also further advanced in ROCCO’s The Innovators program, with our presentation getting us voted into the shortlist. Next step, the Lion’s Den!

Three Continents, One Month (April)

April was a sprint across three continents:
Starting in Tokyo, we attended the first ever IO APAC Connect, hosted by Rakuten Mobile. Our team discussed the future of technology in the Asia-Pacific region, including key topics around travel eSIM and the future of roaming.
At Seatrade Cruise Global in Miami, we engaged with cruise and hospitality stakeholders about how the travel eSIM can elevate onboard connectivity experiences.
Then, we were off to Dubai for GSMA WAS #21. This was an opportunity to strengthen ties with GSMA members and discuss the latest developments across the wholesale ecosystem.
And if April wasn’t busy enough, we were also shortlisted for two categories in the Mobile News Awards: Wholesale Partner and MVNO!
Dispatch #5:
Accolades and Acceleration (May)

We kicked May off strong at the world’s largest MVNO event, MVNOs World Vienna, where we won eSIM Trailblazer of the Year.
At The Innovators’ Lion’s Den, Gregory presented our Universal eSIM live to a panel of judges.
The result? First place at the Visionaries Gala the following evening. Our months-long journey showcasing our solution paid off, and we were honoured to be recognised by the panel of judges for our efforts in helping drive the industry forward with our solutions.
On top of that we were also shortlisted for “Software Product or Solution of the Year” at the Technology Reseller Awards in London.
In the meantime, we also participated in:- ConneXion 2025 in Bangkok, in which Gregory was also part of a travel eSIM panel
- The IO Plenary #08 in Vienna
- GSMA M360 Latam in Mexico City

Expanding Conversations (June)

In June, we continued building cross-industry momentum:
- At Money 20/20 Europe in Amsterdam, Director of Business Development Jody Carollissen joined fintech leaders to explore how an eSIM connectivity partner can drive value in banking, payments, and retail. From enhancing customer experience to unlocking new service models, eSIM is becoming a powerful enabler in financial ecosystems.
- We also co-hosted a two-part Travel eSIM webinar series with Kaleido Intelligence. CEO Gregory Gundelfinger joined the panel to share insights on the silent roamer opportunity, emerging operator challenges, and takeaways from Kaleido’s latest industry survey.

Leading Lights (July)

July brought recognition for CEO Gregory Gundelfinger, named a finalist in the Leading Lights Awards 2025, in the category ‘Executive of the Year.’
Gregory has been advocating for effortless global connectivity from podcasts to podiums for over twenty years. His industry leadership continues to drive Telna's position as a global-first eSIM connectivity partner.

All Hands on Deck: Toronto (August)

Our leadership team was brought together under one roof in Toronto for Telna's annual workshop. Strategy sessions, cross-functional alignment, face-to-face collaboration: the perfect way to get us thinking and working hard about how to push the boundaries in global communications.

Future Forward: Madrid and São Paolo (September)

We spent September imagining what the future of telecommunications could look like.
At Wholesale World Congress in Madrid, Telna rubbed shoulders with 2,100+ wholesale professionals from 101 countries.
At Futurecom in São Paulo, we met over 30,000 industry leaders across the whole connectivity sector to discuss innovation
Two events. Five days of conversations each. Countless demonstrations of how our eSIM solution powers wholesale-scale connectivity.
As demand for borderless connectivity accelerates, we're building the infrastructure and partnerships to support it.

Three Continents, One Month (October)

October took us across continents, industries, and use cases:
- Rome: Telna sponsored GSMA’s WAS #22, where we met wholesale leaders and tracked developments shaping the global sector.
- Singapore: At ITB Asia, the continent’s largest travel trade show, we explored the possibilities our eSIM platform unlocks across travel and mobility.
- Las Vegas: At MWC Las Vegas, we reinforced our commitment to advancing enterprise network connectivity worldwide.
- Online: Our final foray took us online, to Mobile World Live’s eSIM panel discussion. Gregory joined a panel discussion on the future of eSIM technology alongside global telecom experts.

Champions and Changemakers (November)

November delivered recognition on multiple fronts:
- Kaleido Intelligence recognized Telna as No.1 Champion in Travel eSIM MVNE globally, with additional Champion status in Sponsored Roaming.
- Fierce Network Innovation Awards shortlisted Greg for Top Changemaker in recognition of his drive to rethink how the world connects across borders.
On the ground, Telna was active across major industry gatherings:
- At Bridge Alliance CXO Forum in Singapore as Technology Partner, where Greg joined industry leaders discussing consumer expectations, loyalty, and digital engagement evolution
- At MVNO Nation Live in Alicante as Event Partner and nominee for Best Wholesale Partner.
- At AfricaTech Festival at the Canadian Pavilion, connecting with innovators and even elevating networking to a new height with a helicopter view of Cape Town.

New Tools, New Territory (December)

To close out the year, we launched the eSIM Revenue Calculator, a powerful tool to help businesses estimate potential additional revenue when adding eSIM services. Based on customer base, geography, business model and goals, get a revenue forecast in just a few clicks.
2025 has proven what lean, global-first infrastructure can accomplish.
2026 brings more: more innovation, more conversations, more progress.
