Telna provides efficient solutions for broadcasters at IBC 2018

NEW YORK, New York — September 13, 2018 — Telna, a global connectivity enabler, will be on location at IBC in Amsterdam from September 13 – 18, 2018 at booth 9.LP22. Telna will be showcasing their integrated solutions that provide broadcasters with reliable, affordable, high bandwidth, global, mobile data connectivity.

“We work with broadcasters to eliminate the friction of working with multiple operators by providing access to tier one networks together with a universal billing system with one management portal, one invoice, and one direct line to 24/7 support,” said Gregory Gundelfinger, Telna CEO. “We are excited to be collaborating with some of the world’s largest broadcasters to deliver live events globally. Our software-defined network provides a totally unthrottled experience for broadcasters with real-time control which simplifies the logistics of GSM connectivity in high bandwidth IoT applications.”

Telna’s IoT Connect

The IoT Connect is a four modem, carrier-unlocked, eSIM router. It’s designed for flexible 4G LTE connectivity, low latencies, and load balanced data transfers. The hardware uses Telna’s eSIM technology, enabling local cellular connection options around the world. This provides broadcasters with a single router that is SIM-free, has custom multi-region coverage, and superior connectivity at competitive rates. Telna’s IoT connect is managed remotely through a cloud-based portal for full transparency and control. Customized solutions are available for desired LTE band coverage, optimized transfer rates, industry-friendly form factors, and more.

Telna’s IoT SIM Card

The only SIM broadcasters need to stay connected. This universal SIM card provides global, high-speed, multi-carrier 4G LTE and 3G data coverage. This eliminates the hassles and costs associated with swapping SIMs and managing accounts with multiple network carriers.

Telna’s products are powered by Telna’s global network spanning 200+ countries and territories with 800+ network agreements, thus ensuring consistent, reliable 4G LTE and 3G coverage. The ability to connect to multiple networks per country means that no matter where content creators are located, they can get a high-speed 4G LTE data connection to upload time-sensitive content.

Telna makes it easy to manage all connected devices with a cloud-based management portal where data usage and invoices can be transparently viewed in real-time. Telna does not charge monthly access fees and only invoices for actual data consumed so connectivity costs are further reduced.

Telna selects Amazon Cloud Services (AWS) for its Global Virtualized Data Network

Telna selects Amazon Cloud Services (AWS) for its Global Virtualized Data Network

NEW YORK, New York — February 08, 2018 — Telna, a global provider of end-to-end Network as a Service (NaaS) connectivity solutions, has selected Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deploy its high bandwidth LTE data services. Telna’s proprietary Multi-IMSI platform provides enterprise customers with network access across all LTE networks globally. The first installation of Telna’s virtualized data node (GGSN) on the AWS platform was completed last week to support Telna’s VSAT and video broadcasting customers during the Winter Games, shortly after selecting AWS as a vendor. The new network node, based in Singapore, delivers a high bandwidth LTE connection with lower latency and better performance than market competitors.

“By leveraging our global network agreements and combining them with Amazon Cloud Services enables us to address specific LTE IoT niche verticals without having to invest in physical infrastructure globally,” said Telna CEO, Gregory Gundelfinger. “Our enterprise customers utilizing our services in South Korea to cover the Winter Games will have a high-performance local data break-out, rather than being routed back to the USA.”

Enterprise IoT customers consistently request custom network setups which traditional operators are not able to effectively support. The operators’ rigid infrastructure makes this type of setup slow and expensive to deploy. Combining Telna’s Multi-IMSI platform together with the AWS cloud makes these setups cost-effective and reliable. “We had a data network installed at AWS in Singapore in under a day,” said Gundelfinger.

Telna will be at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Feb. 26 – March 1, 2018 in Hall 1, Stand 1B80 doing live demonstrations of its decentralized software-defined multi-IMSI global network. To arrange a meeting please email [email protected]
