Social Media Coordinator

Overview

Telna is looking for a talented Social Media Coordinator to create and maintain a strong online presence for our company. Your role is to create content and implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts. 

The role requires someone who is tech-savvy, creative and resourceful at solving problems. If you are productive working both independently and collaboratively, with an interest in communicating with clients through online channels, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and curate engaging content for Telna and KnowRoaming social media platforms.
  • Manage social media accounts for Telna and KnowRoaming. 
  • Research audience preference and monitor social media channels and industry trends. 
  • Interact with followers by engaging in conversations and answering questions through social media.
  • Measure web traffic, monitor SEO and report on KPIs for social accounts. 
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms to ensure maximum effectiveness.
  • Develop original content for blog posts, social media and other digital promotions.
  • Create case studies and articles related to the tech industry.
  • Assist in creating and editing internal/external communications (i.e. emails, blogs newsletters, press releases).
  • Support outreach campaigns for upcoming events and webinars.
  • Assist in the development and management of influencers and affiliate marketing strategies.

Experience / Skills Required

  • Proven work experience as a social media coordinator managing professional B2B social media accounts, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and oral communication skills.
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.
  • Ability to deliver creative content.
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels.
  • Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively.
  • Multitasking and analytical skills.
  • Experience with social media planning tools (ex. Hubspot, Hootsuite).
  • Knowledge of the Internet of Things and telecommunications is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry is considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work on multiple tasks and proven organizational and time management skills.
