Overview

Telna is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to join our team. This role will focus on data and trend analysis as well as the production of monthly management reports, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and long-term commercial plans. You will also work closely with the operations teams and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality analysis around business performance. 

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver robust and accurate analysis of business performance for Telna’s network connectivity business identifying risks, issues and opportunities across regions.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify new Network Partners, and own the development of commercial relationships, negotiations of commercial agreements and wholesale sales initiatives.
  • Manage the monthly reporting tools, daily traffic reporting and any other tools that provide relevant information for internal stakeholders on which to base commercial decisions.
  • Consolidate, analyze and present data from various databases. 
  • Support in relationship management with Strategic Partners by providing accurate and timely business reporting.
  • Demo our product portal to our Strategic Partners.
  • Create and maintain Microsoft Excel business models and Access database models that support the reporting process.
  • Research, develop, and implement best practices, developing methodologies and processes that add value and improve the result of the business.

Professional Experience

  • Strong business development, critical analysis, business analysis, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Commercially astute, understanding, building, and explaining business cases to key stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a team in an international environment
  • Ability to effectively work in a dynamic team environment and independently with minimal supervision

Technical Experience

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Advanced/Intermediate user of SQL
  • Experience in Python is appreciated

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Business. 
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales operations role
  • Experience with Hubspot CRM
  • Experience in the telecom industry an asset
  • Ability to speak Mandarin or Spanish an asset
