Miami, US, August 10, 2026 — Telna, a provider of managed eSIM connectivity and mobile services, today announced a strategic partnership with MTN Digital Infrastructure, the parent company of Bayobab, to accelerate the deployment of travel eSIM services across multiple African markets.

The partnership brings together Telna's CONNECT platform and Bayobab's IPX capabilities, enabling operating companies to launch branded travel eSIM services through digital channels. By combining connectivity infrastructure with digital service enablement, the partnership supports the growing demand for seamless cross-border connectivity experiences.

The joint platform is designed to reduce deployment complexity through a streamlined operating approach, enabling operating companies to introduce new digital connectivity services more efficiently. This coordinated approach supports a more consistent customer experience across markets while allowing operating companies to maintain their local brand presence.

Under the partnership, Telna's CONNECT platform provides the digital enablement layer, while Bayobab's IPX services provide the international connectivity that supports eSIM activation and usage across participating markets.

Together, the two organisations are creating a scalable framework that supports service consistency and future expansion across multiple markets. Beyond travel eSIM services, the partnership creates opportunities to support future digital service innovation as customer connectivity needs continue to evolve.

“As demand for digital connectivity continues to grow across Africa, this partnership represents an important step in expanding access to innovative eSIM services. By combining Bayobab's connectivity capabilities with Telna's digital platform expertise, we are enabling operating companies to deliver seamless connectivity to customers across multiple markets,” shares Mohamed Bassit, Chief Communication Platforms Officer.

Gregory Gundelfinger, Founder and CEO of Telna added “Our collaboration with Bayobab extends its wholesale roaming business into the eSIM market, with Telna's managed eSIM travel offering making that move fast and straightforward. MNOs get a branded app webstore, marketing, and customer support, all ready to go, a simple wholesale path to sell eSIM access into travel apps and reach customers faster.”

The partnership will serve as a catalyst by enabling Africa's digital future through scalable connectivity solutions that support both operators and end users across the continent.
