Here are our low domestic rates
For your phone calls from Washington, you could enjoy the following rates:
- 5.9 ¢ per minute for all calls to a number inside Washington
- 4.8 ¢ per minute for calls to a number in any other state including calls to Alaska and Hawaii
- Low international rates for all international calls
There are no monthly fees and no minimums. You only pay for your exact call usage. Period.
The same rates apply for calls placed from your free travel card!
On every call, you will also benefit from Telecom North America's unique straight one second billing to achieve even lower charges for each call.
Remember, since Telecom North America offers such low rates, our customers pay less taxes, because taxes are calculated as a
percentage of call costs

About taxes
Rates exclude local and state taxes, as well as the federal USF charge, which are collected on behalf of different official agencies and billed as separate line items on your monthly bill.
- State and local taxes can range anywhere from 0 to 10% depending on where you live. Certain smaller long distance providers don't charge you for those taxes. This is illegal and means that those companies are bound to disappear sooner or later!
- The USF (Universal Service Fund) charge is collected on behalf of the federal government to fund telecommunications in remote areas. Unlike other long distance providers who charge up to 12% for "USF fees", telna passes the USF charge straight through to its customers. Click here to see the current USF rate.
